Golden Gate Bridge & Norton 850 Commando, 1982
Description
Golden Gate Bridge & Norton 850 Commando was taken by photographer Mush Emmons.
"In 1982 and armed with press credentials, I had unrestricted access during the January 4th storm and floods. The Golden Gate Bridge closed to motorists for the first time since the 1950s, while awaiting mud removal from the Waldo Grade landslide that covered all southbound lanes of Highway 101. With nary a wisp of wind the following day, the winter afternoon was uniquely peaceful near mid-span with my comrade-in-arms, the Norton Commando 850."
This incredible photo is a piece of San Francisco history that would make a wonderful addition to your home or office. Printed on high-quality photo paper with a fine art quality print, this photo is the perfect choice to personalize any space or room.
